Sugar-rush Saturdays

‘Sugar-rush Saturdays’ are short and sweet baking workshop sessions held on random Saturdays of the month. They still give you the joy of experiencing the therapeutic balm that is baking, while the sessions are not too long. That way, you still get your time with your family over the weekend. In short, we’re giving you the best of both worlds. The theme changes each month, giving you an opportunity to learn more with time. All of August, we baked ‘Classic Favourites’. For September, it was ‘Chocolate Nirvana’, featuring 6 rich and decadent chocolate desserts.

Registration process: Register using the form below. Once you’ve registered through this page, you should receive a call/email/sms from us, with details of our Bank account to do an online transfer for the fee payment. Your registration is confirmed only after we have received the fee amount in our account. (Note: In case of last-minute cancellations, a cancellation fee of INR 500 will be applicable).

Workshop Location: J P Nagar 5th phase (Near Delmia Cirle; 1.5km from Shopper’s Stop Bannerghatta Road), Bangalore. Location route map will be provided once you have registered, a day prior to the workshop date.

Workshop Timings: 11 am to 5 pm (including 30 minute lunch break)

Workshop Fee: INR 1800 per person

‘The Cupcake Project’ hands-on Workshop will cover: 

  1. Lemon Cupcakes: Vanilla Cupcakes + Lemon Curd Frosting + Piping: Swirls with 1M tip
  2. Strawberry Surprise Cupcakes: Strawberry cupcakes + Strawberry jelly filling + Strawberry buttercream frosting + Piping: Rosettes
  3. Coffee Cream and Walnut Cupcakes: Coffee-walnut cupcakes + Mascarpone coffee cream frosting + Walnut topping
  4. Dark Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes (spiked with Rum): Devil’s food cupcakes + Cranberry syrup soaking + Dark Ganache frosting + Piping:
What you will need to bring: An apron, pen/pencil, your lunch, and a box to take back the goodies prepared in the workshop. Please note, lunch will NOT be provided. Kindly ensure you carry your’s.

Workshop Take-aways: Live demos, Recipe Booklet, Samples of all the goodies made, and the confidence to re-create the magic in your kitchen!

**Note: Children and pets not allowed during workshop for obvious reasons. Please make prior arrangements for baby-sitters/pet-sitters.**
